Under the “Say it Up Close” campaign for Dentyne, an integrated campaign was created and it was delivered on the concept:
The closer you look, the more interesting it gets.
Dentyne
HOLA means HELLO in Spanish. The headline reads: “The closer you get the more interesting it is. Dentyne Ice refreshes your breath”.
Inside the first letter we see a guy dressed as a hot dog and a girl dress as a hot dog bun looking for each other at a costume party. In the other letters they are getting closer and closer until they finally find each other in the last letter.
OYE means LISTEN in Spanish. The headline reads: “The closer you get the more interesting it is. Dentyne Ice refreshes your breath”.
Inside the first letter we see a guy holding a bunch of records and a girl holding a gramophone looking for each other at a flea market. In the second letter they are getting closer and in the last letter they finally find each other. They start dancing together as the gramophone plays.
QUE TAL means HOW ARE YOU in Spanish. The headline reads: “The closer you get the more interesting it is. Dentyne Ice refreshes your breath”.
Inside the first letter we see a guy and a girl, who is holding a suntan lotion, looking for each other at crowded beach. They are both sun burnt.
In the other letters they get closer and closer. Finally in the last letter they find each other and we see how he applies suntan lotion on the girl.
An interactive experience and an endless zoom transported the user through different and fantastic worlds.
Collectible pieces of gum were hidden and enabled the user to participate in a sweepstakes if discovered.
Made at TVP in partnership with Curious Pictures.
The closer you look, the more interesting it gets on these banners for Dentyne.
